Now Processing while printer is Idle. VS-540i. Not a printing issue. HELP.

CSOCSO

I don't hate paint, I just overlay it.
Hey everyone. Yes, I did a search and and every thread I found was about the printer stopping mid-print while this message is shown. I did not experience that yet, my issue is different.
My problem is the when I come in the morning my printer says "Now processing" and I have to shut the power off on the machine so I can make it work. No printing involved so luckily don't have issues wasting vinyl but I am afraid the printer can't do it's periodic cleaning while standing idle overnight or standing for a couple days.
That being said I believe we can rule out the issue with the networking and or the computer. I am afraid the main board might be going out or the motor.

It could be a lot of things. Is unlikely to be the motor as this will generally give an error code. You really need to see what it is trying to do when it goes into that state. Try running a cleaning on it and see if it works ok doing that.
Is it printing ok when you send it jobs?
For now if you run a clean on it before you leave for the night then it should be fine to keep the heads ok

Cleaning doesn't trigger it. Prints fine. Something happens overnight when I am not here so hard to tell what triggers it.
