A few things you could try. Try cleaning the encoder strip with some alcohol and a lint free rag. This is an error regarding the UV curing carriage having something impeding it, so check to see if anything is impeding the path of the UV print carriage. It is usually the encoder strip, but putting some eyes on all the moving parts to be sure things are clear would be the next step. If those fail, then get a tech in there.

No i bought second hand
These printers need a service contract. Regardless how cheap you bought it, it's still a 100k machine and needs to be treated like one.

Try what mark said, i have never seen that error before.

6502 it is a communication problem with the Chiller, it could be a circuit breaker the Chiller not plugs in properly it could be the Chiller it self, good luck.

It’s all about your print!
If it says Adjusting the temperature for a while and then finally throws this code it's the chiller.
We just had ours do this. It was code 6510 though but it was on our 1650. The entire chiller had to be replaced on our 1650. I'm not sure if the 1640 is the same way.
I was told though that the Colorado M's chiller is more modular and parts replaceable vs having to be replaced so I'm not sure on the 1640.
