Even the small hp bottle should last a lifetime if you are not overusing it. And you always get a new (2) one from Smk3 service.

We bought it used and didn't get anything like that.It's just machine oil. Use whatever you like.

I use gun oil on pretty much all my moving parts, seems to work well and doesn’t get a lot of crap build up
The lubricating felts are presoaked with oil. 3 in 1 is perfect.
Felts are not presoaked. The left front is just the felt. On right side is a oil reservoir to constantly apply oil to the main rod. The rear rod needs to be oiled from time to time. The felts of the rear rod are not accessible easily when replacement is required. But during SMK3 all oiler felts will be replaced.
