Older versus new editions of Omega

A friend/trade contact has done a file for me in a newer version of Omega than mine, and Hey Ho, my 3.0 informs me that it's not readable..What a surprise!! Is there a way to overcome this does anyone have any experience? It's basically a .plt file..

You'll need to have them save it as an older Gerber .plt file. It's in the dropdown menu.

I suppose that's a sensible Omega option.. my folks will realise I'm on older software I think, I'll ask them in the morning..
