onyx 12 and xrite dtp41b

Has anybody had success white the dtp41b and onyx12? I can get versaworks to see it, but not onyx12..It always states "a device error 43 occurred. make sure device is configured correctly." I'm running windows 7. Colorport and tool crib can see it too, just not onyx12

You're connecting with a serial cable to an addon serial card in your pc right?
Make sure you use the correct Comm port number - if there is more than 1 try them all.

yes sir...ive tried every comm port number ...still same message
