Hello! We are working with Onyx RIP Queue/cut server with our HP Latex 365 and a Summa S2 140. Typically, the material we are running for contoured cuts is 54", and the rip software would require all print files to be 51" or smaller in order for it to add the Summa registration marks (or we get media mismatch error). In the past year, this has somehow changed, and all files now have to be 50" or smaller to run on 54" material with Summa marks.
I have tried tricking it to run our older files (that used to run just fine in years prior) telling it the roll is wider than it is and then bypassing the "media too narrow" message. I have checked all margins, gutters, changed centering modes, everything I can think of to NOT have to redesign these files to run fewer quantities up at a time and waste material.
Any ideas???
The Onyx upgrade is pretty pricey and the version we are running now no longer has tech support....go figure.
