Onyx and JV33

Is it possible for Onyx to send signals to JV33 that can create errors such as misreading or error outs of encoder strip or sensor? Had two machines connected to Onyx and had constant error 08:encoder sensor errors. Reboted Onyx and connected 2nd Mimaki to raster link and the errors went away
