Honestly, the x64 won't do you a bit of good, as ONYX7 is 32bit. it'll run just as nice on a 32bit system.
also, postershop onlys allows for 1 RIP at a time, so you're not going to be able to use multiple cores effectively, and ONYX 7 doesn't do hyperthreading very well.
also, it's getting harder and harder to find firewire cards with x64 drivers. star-tech makes 1, but its like twice as expensive as their standard card.
but, if you're looking to upgrade your printer/RIP to the more recent versions, you'll notices a helluva difference in performance.
