Opinions of Graphtec CE5000-120 48" Cutter

Currently run a Graphtec CE5000-60 (24") with excellent results. Am considering getting a CE5000-120 (48") so we can handle larger contours off our printer.

Assuming it is the exact same machine, only wider and much more expensive.

Would love the 8000 series but too high $$ for our needs.

Have quotes coming from Fellers, Grimco and SW.

Any other suggestions for reliable vendors is welcome.

I consider this a commodity purchase as we already know the line of machine and just need the best price possible.

Wondering how hungry they are these days on a $3,800 retail machine sale.

Check www.signoutletstore.com they gave the best price out of all the others that you mentioned. I really like the ce5000 series cutters and for the money they are perfect. I have both the ce and fc8000 they both perform good. The only thing that worries me on the ce is the bars for the vinyl. When you put a 48 inch roll by 50yards they look like they gonna brake and that's the only thing that I don't like

What do you notice as the biggest differences in the units?

Small shop so speed is not that important to us.

The only difference is the way they are made. The ce looks cheaper and it is cheaper but still cuts and tracks just as good as the fc. They both read reg marks.
I haven't explored all the options on the fc but just for cutting vinyl or contour cut the ce is enough cutter for the job. No need to spend few thousand more.
