Outside clocktower hands

What about printing on either metal or plastic to place on the end of a large hand for a clocktower outside in the sun and weather elements. Ideas on materials and inks that would hold up. Golds with some shading.

Print on clear, apply over something fancy like signgold or mylar with yellow hues added in.
If you're looking to sell the big +5' clocks you see on fancy building towers, there is great money in that. You can buy the mechanism and all fairly cheap, and installation is simple. It's just fabbing a big shell to receive a piece of decorated plastic that is the hard part.
