Hey everyone,
I’m running into an issue with my HP Latex 630 where the overcoat seems to be applied no matter what I do.
Am I misunderstanding how Overcoat works?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Do you want me to make it more technical (with mentions of RIP software, firmware version, media profile settings, etc.) so other techs can give you deeper troubleshooting advice, or keep it general for a broader audience?
I’m running into an issue with my HP Latex 630 where the overcoat seems to be applied no matter what I do.
- I’ve tested the same print file with and without the overcoat profile and still getting some level of overcoat.
- I also tried enabling “Optimize for Lamination” (which should remove overcoat I think), but I’m still seeing it being applied.
- No matter how I configure it, the printer seems to insist on using some overcoat.
