Hi there,
Not sure if this is the right place but we are looking to test printing paint can labels on our XR 640 Roland. the problem is finding the substrate as the stock which is currently used is a very very thin paper stock (looks like they are printing on a offset press at current). My supplier told me either an economic or intermediate vinyl might do, but has anyone got experience of printing paint can labels ?
The paper also has a gloss on it. Its a potentially big and regular job once we can get the stock specced right. The client is more concerned about localisation than anything as they are importing the labels and applying them at their factory. We are 5 minutes away.
thanks in advance.
