Perf vinyl not feeding correctly

I am printing a back window on perf for my truck and as its feeding throught the machine, its bumping up as if its being fed too fast. Its causing the head to strike the material as you can see by the pics. Any ideas? Its a new material I just got and im wondering if its a manufactures defect. Chime in and let me know what you all think.

I had that issue with a brand of perf I was trying out too! The problem was with the product. The backing liner coating was too slippery. Meaning the perf had a very low stick to the liner and the pressure and motion of the pinch rollers cause this lifting. I can't remember what product I used though.... My supplier had it in as a test run...it didn't pan out because of this issue. I also had all the jobs I did using that roll fail within a few months and had to re-do them using a better quality product.

What brand is it? Maybe it's the same crap.

Yes, it was an inexpensive brand and yes, I think that is whats happening. The distributor is being really helpful and issuing a full credit. Will have to try another brand. Head crashes are not nice.
