Perfect Plank Western Cedar Sign Blank?

Thinking I may have used these blanks many years ago at about a 2'x3' size. I'm looking for a alternative instead of allwood cedar blanks. Cost is getting up there! Quoting a 4' x 8' sandblasted single faced and need reminding of the quality of these blanks now. It mentioned that one side most likely will have imperfections. I didn't remember in the past ( Prob 25 years ago) of any otherwise I would not of used them.

Anyone using them? Client wants quote on wood and hdu foam

Good clear Cedar (especially anything of serious dimension) is getting hard to locate (unless connected) and very $$$ regardless. Almost getting to be like buying Diamonds... cut, color and clarity ...as well as size.
