For Sale:
(1) Nova Polymers Orbital X photopolymer processor. This machine was bought new from Nova Polymers and used for a few years with no issue. It has been maintained per Nova Polymers maintenance schedule and still functions just as well and will continue to with proper maintenance. It is an all in one unit and everything comes with it. Specs for the machine can be found on Nova Polymers website plus there are quite a few videos from them on YouTube for training and to see how it functions. This machine is setup for production runs so as one sheet of material comes out of the first step, another goes on while the first sheet goes on to the second step. Once you get the flow down, you can run 4-5 sheets continuously until finished. The sheets can then be cut down via shear, table saw, or CNC router into individual signs. The signs then get painted and tipped and you have a photopolymer ADA sign. The process of exposing the photopolymer sheets to UV light requires the production of films with the sign artwork. These films according to Nova Polymers can be made using an inkjet printer but from what we were told that is not a very efficient method of production. The best way is to use a thermal imagesetter which is part of this package.
The thermal imagesetter we purchased with this machine is the OYO Liberator 1812. It has been meticulously cared for throughout and works like new. It can produce films back to back and is the most efficient way to match the photopolymer processors capability. The imagesetter is run through the Harlequin RIP software which is pre loaded on the computer included with this unit. The imagesetter and RIP software new costs $25,000 which paid for itself when we were producing photopolymer ADA signs and will do so much faster at the price we are asking.
