Why is it every time I type out a word in CS3 it comes out pixalated. The parameters are anysize at 72dpi and the fonts come out blurry.

You can change the type within 5 styles including : none, sharp, crisp, strong and smooth,

but remember Photoshop is a raster program, not vector.

Window-> Character

popup comes up. See where I highlighted you probably have it set to none.
