Anyone ever seen a head do this?

heads soaked overnight 9-26.jpg

Last week we replaced 3 of 6 heads in this machine- Yellow and black were never removed.

How can I identify if this is a print head going out, or an electrical problem?

it looks electrical - check to make sure the yellow cable is seated first of all. if this doesnt remedy it, do a data swap (put black cable to yellow head, yellow cable to black head) -- if it follows the cable its the cable or board. if it stays on yellow its the head

Ok we did the data swap and it stayed with the head.

Yesterday, we were able to remove one of the data cables to the yellow head, and just print on 1 side of it, but this morning it looks like the other side is broken now too.

I know this effect: this happens when a data cable to the print head is not correctly connected or the cable/connectors are damaged.
