When I print a photo on my Roland SP 540, it gets little boxes of a different shade of the color. How do I stop this? What is the cause?

And what software you're running and what RIP settings/etc.

As well as any types of things you've done troubleshooting wise (head alignment, manual cleaning, etc).

just sounds more like a low-res image (internet download) that was blown up too big and printed????

here is a pic of the problem.
GEESH... I don't know what you mean about rip settings.
I use Flexi 8, printed it on a canvas with the the PGVP preset settings.
I ahve even used the photo zoom tool.
photos are in my photo album. not sure how to put them this message.
