Even with the unique "r" i cant seem to find this font.

Yes, Papong is probably the closest you'll get, if you need that "r" with the uptick flourish. Otherwise, Papong is actually a cheap knockoff of Perpetua. If Papong is missing anything you need, just use Perpetua instead.

The reason why Papong has a different "r" is because that little flourish was in the very first cutting of Perpetua in the late 1920s. After that, they got rid of it. It was quite common back then for typefaces to be released with little experimental features like that, but then the foundry would backtrack as soon as they heard a negative comment and change it in subsequent releases.
