Power leads for HP L25500 - What plugs do they use (in UK)

Hi all.

It might sound like a dumb question, but I'm looking to purchase a refurbished L25500 and a thought suddenly struck me.

I know the printer requires a separate 15A circuit and 2 supplies to run the printer properly, but is there anything different about the actual plugs on the power cables for the printer? Are they just standard square 3 pin plugs (like a 13A plug), or are they different in some way (round pins etc..)?

Have looked everywhere, but cannot find this information, or any pictures of the actual leads to help me confirm.

Can't remember what this is called but essentially it is a site setup guide before you get your printer. It shows all the different available plugs and the countries where they work. Should be able to order whatever you need from HP.

Hi

In the UK for the 60" version you need two 16amp sockets - blue with 3 round pins - same as you have for caravans.

The official spec as per the HP site prep guide for the L25500 is IEC 60309.

Often the cable in the wall does not need upgrading - usually a standard ring main will cope easily as the 15amp draw only happens during initial heat-up from cold - in production it drops back down to well below 13Amps.

The 42" version uses two standard square-pin 13amp sockets.
