Print banding & burn marks Printing from flexi

Hey everyone! So originally I thought it was the printer, but it was only doing it when printing on IJ180cv3 or 40c film.

When I print from ONYX its perfect, but color are off little & crop cutting from ONXY is a nightmare.

I have tried installing 3m profiles to flexi.

Any ideas, or Profiles or print settings?

Looks like a combination of ink starvation and media buckling to me. First picture (ink starvation) Second picture (media buckling)

This is assuming first picture is scan direction and second picture is feed direction.

Was this only noticed once it was installed on the vehicle or............?

Correct, vertical print passes for the banding, the burn marks are horizonal (only on 3m films)
no media buckling.

Iv called 3m, Epson, Grimco and Flexi. No luck.

But no issues printing from onyx.

I had the exact same problem with "burn marks" a couple of times, when i ran an Epson 40600 with Onyx.

In my case it was all about the vinyl. (3M). Ended up printing it on Avery instead without problems.

We have the same issue with 3M IJ180Cv3. change over to another vinyl, or use Onyx.
It only happens with pale colors. BTW

This issue is fixed, Chris with SAI loaded profiles from epson dashboard.

Don't use icc profiles from 3m.com or flexi website
