Print gloss and matte at the same time?

I'm thinking of a sticker run that has a matte background and then gloss for the main character on the sticker. Is that possible with my setup? I have an HP Latex 115.

Nope!

You can do that with a UCJV150/300 or a bevy of other machines just not the latex.

I received an advertisement from a company that may have a product you can buy and apply to your own prints. This is not an endorsement of any kind. the product is called Lux FX by teamconceptprinting.com. looks pretty interesting and has matte and gloss elements

Or you could sub to any number of label companies that does spot UV.

I want to try to keep it in house. I might want to look into UV then at some point in time.

Spot UV coat is what your looking for. Or liquid lam gloss and matte using a silkscreen. You could do sheets at a time.
