Print problem

I have a roll of vinyl that keeps tunneling when I print. Sometimes it is about 8 inches into the print. I've never had this problem before has anyone else?

I would say this is defective or old vinyl. Almost like the adhesive is failing. What type of vinyl is this? Removable? Permanent? Either way, it shouldn't do that. It could be heat settings but even a bad heat setting wouldn't cause the vinyl to do that unless it was already defective.

Is the vinyl separating from the backing?
Could it be a heater issue?
I had a similar situation, the cause was the side of the roll was rubbing and pinching against the side stop collar, it seemed to only have the problem towards the end of the roll.

Had the same problem with a few rolls of generic "economy" vinyl we were testing out.
The guys liked the way it installed but along with the tunneling it tended to curl off the backer as soon as we trimmed the prints no matter how long we let them dry.
Solved the problem by going back to 3M's IJ35.

I have had the media for a couple of months because I ordered in bulk because of a special they were having. But this is the only roll that has done that. I won't mention name here because they are a merchant member and don't want to hurt them in anyway.

Bad vinyl happens. I have received bad rolls at one point or another from all of the major brands. It's what they do to fix it that separates the good from the bad. Let them know what's going on and see what they say.
