Print quality

Hi I run a Roland vp 540 with flexi sign when I print say black text on dark yellow background the black bleeds into the yellow in standard setting but does not on high quality omits other colours print fine on both

That is because of the profile, just as it states one is standard quality and the other high quality, so it is printing slower on the high quality and there are probably some other setting inside the profile to give the better look.

Laying down too much ink too quickly.

When printing heavy coverage on gloss media (on Rolands) we generally print in high quality so it has time to dry the ink between passes.

I agree with above. Too much ink and it's not curing fast enough. Try another profile and turn the heat up.
