Hello, I’m new here and not from the printing industry.
We are going to buy a large flatbed UV printer for printing onto powder coated sheet metal and textured ABS parts. These are equipment panels. We have made test parts on different printers and know we can achieve acceptable quality. We do not need blazing speed.
Three questions:
Does anyone have experience with a Roland VersaOBJECT CO-640i-F3? We do not really need the print at distance capability but it could be very useful if we designed for it. We just saw the specs on this machine and did not evaluate it. It seems to be new.
Does anyone here have a large UV flatbed located near NE Ohio that could print parts for us? The largest parts are roughly 50 x 72 x 3. Distance matters - we would shuttle the parts. Lead time matters - a couple days is fine but a couple weeks is not. Printing is not our business and we would rather source the service.
Is anyone located nearby interested in buying time on a machine if we buy one? We will only consume a portion of the capacity.
