Printer stops because 'temperature too high' SJ-745EX

Hello everyone,

It looks like the fuse it burned (from my threads before), somehow it affected all the machine, looks like both light cyan and light magenta are not working, the group b fuse wasn't working, but got it repaired. The printing quality looks grainy, as if it was printed in low quality even though I use the versaworks regular setup (banner setup with medium quality, when using flex banner rolls) like I used to do it. Now another problem I have is that when i'm printing a 80cm x 80cm it stops and says that the temperature is too high. Any clues on this matter?

It's been driving me nuts for lots of problems in about 2 weeks and it never gave me any problems, only since when the fuse got burned.

The colour pattern on the nozzle check looks like it's missing group A. Should be CMYKLcLm from left to right, i only see 4/6 groups. All heads have a thermistor on them, although the printer only refers to one. On early pro 2's it was black, but i think only because that is head 1. Head 1 on your machine would be Cyan, which isn't present in the nozzle check, likely meaning there is no communication with the main board from there.

A blown fuse would cause that, or a bad cable connection. A bad connection could also blow the fuse, so fixing one might solve the other.

How hot is it in the space that you are printing?

We had a similar issue last year when our air conditioning went down. Shop got REALLY hot and printer stopped working saying "temperature too high". Once room was back to normal temp, printer worked fine again.
