Printheads prematurely failing & replacements not always acccepted.

We have been chasing an issue for a month now.

HP 335 CUT & PRINT

The printhead (OP in our case) will randomly be rejected and require replacement (Very early 100ml to 1000ml max). We have been limping along with the issue for a month where it allows us to print for up to a week straight. Most of the time
the printer "corrects itself". Today however we have tried 2 new printheads with no luck & are at a standstill.

We are now due for SMK3 although it is apparently on backorder.

I believe the issue may be with the information strip behind the printhead, although this is a guess.

Take a picture of the connector (the strip you mean). It can be swapped with another next to it.

If that connector is okay, next thing is the carriage PCA. And because you say they last for a while and then go, I bet you need a new pca.
