New Guy Printing CMYK Red on a HP 315 Latex Printer

I just purchased a HP 315 latex printer and have the need to print a nice deep red using CMYK (0,100,100,0) on reflective material. Seem like it is printing with a orange tint and is not have vibrant as the 3M (ruby red).

Does anyone have any ideas that may help me out.

What RIP are you using?

I am using Flexi Production manager 19

Reduce your yellow and maybe add a small amount of cyan or black. If it's printing like orange you will want to check what profile is attached. What program are you creating the art in? Is it using RGB or CMYK as your document spectrum?

I use a different printer but sometimes under Color settings, Rendering intent, Pure Hue red when checked makes a
nicer red than using a profiled red.

You need to print on a Backlit profile. Needs at least 16 pass, 190 saturation
