I have had this problem long ago but can't recall what I did. I manually cleaned my printer yesterday and it printed fine after that. I cut stuff this morning and then I go to print and this happens. Roland sp300i. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Hi, I had a very similar problem that was cured by cleaning the linear encoder strip which the print head runs across. You'll see pics of it online. I just rubbed it gently with a soft cloth.
Great thank you!! It worked even though I cleaned the wrong strip! Then I cleaned the right one. I have never done that and there was a lot of dust. I would have thought it waould be a print head problem. Hmm Thanks Again.
