Printing Latex on Reflective 3M Reduces / eliminated reflective effect? L260

We use a HP latex 260 with Flexi 10 software.

We've gotten a request to produce fully printed reflective
stripe kits. However in the past the ink seemed
to reduce the effectiveness of the intended reflective effect?

Has anyone else experience this?
Any settings to maybe make it more acceptable?
We use a 10 / 12 pass currently i believe.

We use a glossy premium 3m Laminate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All reflective has that, but to what extent you are experiencing it is the question.

All coloured reflective starts out white, but for colours has translucent ink screened on top
of the white. This reduces the candle foot reflection rating, depending on the colour. If you look up
3m engineering grade specs you will see the coloured reflective rates differ by colour. Black is almost
non reflective.
