Printing on carpet

Is anybody out here direct printing on carpet? If so, can you shed some insight to me? (what carpet do you recommend, what printer has worked for you, what were the results?)

I've done a run on my FB700 of a giant 40' x 20' carpet, seamed quite a few times.

The best is usually a dye-sub printer as it really soaks in but UV in our case wasn't too bad
Haven't tested the durability of it as in how long it lasts, it was for a display that was up for a week which seemed to last without any issues.

Thank you for the feedback. We have a FB700 and a customer is looking to do an outdoor display rug. At one time the old XL1500 could print direct, but was coming up empty for these newer machines.
