Printing on Clear Media - Installing on black surface

Sounds crazy, I know...

I have the option of bidding on a job that requires labels to be printed on clear then applied to a black part. Can a ValueJet print solid enough to "pop" on a black background? Do I need white ink? Can a ValueJet use white ink?

Are there other options than using a white vinyl printed black (that is NOT an option)?

If I recall correctly you have to purchase an option to use white ink in the valuejet

Without a white backing I don't think it would pop. Print a small sample and try it!

There are currently no options for white ink for the ValueJets.

The best you can do is to do mulitiple strike to increase the density, Eco inks are not opaque.

Overwrite Cnt = 2
Overwrite Wait = 2-5 seconds
