Problem Printing Greys on the Epson Surecolor s40600

Hi, I have problems printing the greys on the Epson Surecolor s40600. Greys are printing as tints of greens. I would appreciate if anyone can assist solving this problem. I am using the ONYX Gamaprint for Ripping my files to Epson. I have changing to different profiles but doesn't help.

Do you have a spectro you can make custom profiles with?

You need to recalibrate your media which requires a supported spectrophotometer.

I have the same confusion as you.
I have tried many times to make my own profiles
They both appear slightly green as well, which is very frustrating to me.

This problem is obvious with the 40600, but I don't have it with my 80600. The print heads are all perfect

Have you checked your lighting under daylight bulbs or better go outside?

We had issues with some colors coming over from design software into Gamaprint correctly. There is a setting in color matching where you can tell it to use a specific color match format or to accept it as you submitted. I can't remember exact verbiage. I'll have to go in and go through it again. Once I changed that setting, my color was spot on. I'll try to look into it today and post.

I have noticed that issue as well. It can be avoided by using a pantone color instead of CMYK. Others here can probably tell you how to better fix this problem (and I'll be taking that advice too lol) but this should help you out for now.
