Problem with Cutlines CS5

I am using CS5 and having trouble always getting the cutlines to show in versaworks. Most of the files I print come from another designer. I go through the same steps on some files and the cutlines show, then on other files the cutlines won't show in versaworks. Anyone else have an issue like this.

Yes - transparency used in illustrator interferes with the cutline. Flatten the transparency on everything and you should be good to go...

Also make sure that outline stroke is 'not' selected when you flatten. Zoom in on a little section of cut line and make sure that it didn't happen.
