Is there a way to make versaworks my default rip when I hit the rip and print button?

You can send a job from Flexi to Versaworks by using desktop print (File>Print), just like you would from any other appliaction. Versaworks includes a desktop printer driver, so you only have to select this device in the list of the print dialog, then it will take over the processing.

Why do you not want to use the RIP built into Flexi? It gives you a lot more control over the output.
