It's better to have two hands than one glove.
For cut vinyl have black, white, red, blue in both cast and calendared. For print vinyl, calendared for decals and assorted short term stuff. Cast for everything else. In a pinch you can get away with using your cast white cut[ing] vinyl for printing requiring cast vinyl.

There is nothing better than 3M Intermediate Vinyls. NOTHING.
These are the SC 50 Series. Spot Colors.

Keep a full roll of SC50-12 Black. Everything else, order as needed.
Order a roll of 24" TransferRight 6792 Ultra.
Avoid Tape and Brightline. they are inconsistent and the 6792 Ultra
is only $20 more a roll. Consistantly Good saves your material from hitting the trash can.

The only Oracal I keep in stock is their Dark Grey.

Join signcraft.com $4.99 a month.
Follow the Pricing Structures and never ever quote lower.
It is the best dammm $5 a month you will ever spend.

Get Every color chart you can and get a Pantone Color Bridge "COATED"
A 2 -3 year old chart is ok if it is in great to new condition ( eBay)

Call Gregory1. com and speak to Kelly or Missy. 800-835-2221
This is who you out source to. Been doing business with them for 30 years.

Yup.. almost everything Karst said I could disagree with.

Oracal 651 is my go to. I have 50 yd. rolls of Black, White and Red, and spares of them all. I have about 30 various other colors I bought as needed.

Signcraft pricing is dumb

Outsource to S365 if you need to

651 is probably the most popular and best calendared vinyl out there and always has been. I'll get some people riled up here but 651 is good enough to not really need to use a cast material. We keep black red and white in 651 and 751.

We almost exclusively use Gerber (made by 3M) high performance vinyl in 15" & 30" widths. We use 3M for 48".
