My only experience with wide format has been 5 years with a UV flatbed. Since the inks lay down on top of the materials, any profile I use looks very much the same from banner vinyl to foamcore.
So now, I'm purchasing my first solvent printer and am lead to believe I should buy some equipment to calibrate medias or have someone do this for me (dealer).
I use Onyx, will their profiles be good enough or do I need the help of an experienced dealer or should I invest in the necessary equipment and learn myself.
