PROII Prefeeding 1/4" at a time

Before my PROII will cut any sort of vinyl it will prefeed the required media 1/4" at a time until it reaches the desired amount. This is highly inefficient and takes forever. The printer is taking longer to prefeed the material then to cut it. Sometimes up to 15 mins of prefeeding.

Enabling/Disabling the "Prefeed" option in the menu has no effect.

Thoughts?

PROII, VersaWorks, only does it when its vinyl.
