Question about the Roland Versa Camm VS 540i

I bought this printer not long ago, my question is, we are out of the white ink, and I have prints that I need to print that doesn't require white ink, is there any kind of "Over Ride" that can get me through until the White Ink Cartridge comes in? Or am I just stuck with it beeping at me????

Pull the white ink cart out and apply a piece of tape over the plastic tab that is sticking out of the edge of the cartridge. Plug it back in.
