In my omtech laser how's the best way to square up an item. I been measuring to the inside of the laser front cover. In my smaller xtool laser I either square it up to the back wall or add pieces of oak flooring planks that are factory square. Ideas?

Find something that you trust as square and measure off that, make stops that stick into the honeycomb bed, assuming that's what you're using.

We cut a bunch of these out and use them to hold down stops, sheets, etc.

On ours (TTP, not Omtech) I'll usually use the laser sight to do the final alignment.
