What is the difference between ""Load" and "Install" when you right click on a Font?

There are both options... Neither seem to install the font...

Do you have to reboot or close/open your applications, before they'll recognise the new fonts?

Arial Sucks.
What application are you using to install or manage fonts? Also, what operating system are you using?

Install should bring up a three choice box with a recommended choice of copying the font to the Windows font folder. Load simply makes a virtual version available in your applications without physically installing the font.

Whether a relaunch of an application before seeing the fonts in your font menu is necessary depends on the application. Adobe Photoshop, for example, sees the new fonts even though it may be already open. So does Adobe Illustrator 10.
