R-Tape Conform 4075RLA Adhesive Problems????

I ordered a roll of 24" R-Tape Conform 4075RLA back in the middle of October and never used it until a week or two ago(been doing a lot of printed wraps not needing mask). I did some stripes using matte black Oracal 751 and wouldn't stick. I figured it was due to the matte finish and wrote it off. Now I did (4)-8' long decals for a trailer I'm doing Sunday using Oracal 751 Silver Grey Metallic & Oracal 751 Black and the mask looks like it is on there, but you can still peel the mask off without pulling the vinyl from the backing. I called Fellers and they are going to send me a fresh roll and said its uncommon to hear problems with the Conform as it's their best selling mask. Has anyone else had problems with R-Tape??? I worked at a 3M plant where we manufactured automotive & medical tape and I know you can have issues with adhesive.

I opened up a 32" and 18" box of 4075RLA around October and didn't have any problems. Maybe you got some old stock that wasn't rotated properly..

Glad to know--I have some Oracal HT55 which is more of a medium tack mask and that feels to have twice as much tack as compared to the 4075RLA....Weird!!!
