We are considering this material for an wall project and will have many, many panels to install. I have asked my Grimco rep, but no one can tell me if you have to use application tape with this product. Has anyone used this? Did you use application tape? THANKS!

This is probably a bit late for you now, but we have used this film without application tape. Installation is never an issue with this however we have had retention issues with the film coming off the wall on some walls but not others. after much annoyance and research we have determined that is due to low VOC paint used on the wall and now we are going in for a fourth time on this job to
- wash the wall with diluted alcohol, TWICE
- apply primer 94 to the wall
- apply the film
- finish with edge sealer
