Raster files printing greenish and dark.

From time to time we get customer supplied art that are raster images ... when printing these the often print dark and or have a greenish tint to them. Today I am printing alot of banner like this so i want to get it looking good. I have printed tests after saving as .jpeg , .tiff , and .eps as well as the supplied .pdf with very similar results. What is the best way of correcting the files? should i be doing some adjustments in PS or in my RIP?

It is worse than it looks in the pictures.

Ok I got it figured out for this one... I selected the part of the image that was "off" and messed with the brightness and color balance and after multiple test prints I got it to my liking. Is this the best way to tackle these problems or is there a better way ... i feel like maybe this is something to do with adjusting the profiles but im not sure?
