Rasterlink 5 activation

I bought a used Mimaki JV33 and it had Rasterlink 5 with it. I used it for a while but now it says I have to activate it but it is registered on the previous owners computer. Who or how do I get it deactivated from the previous owner? The previous owner was a real jack**s and probably wont deactivate it for me. I bought it through his exwife.

Contact Mimaki. Tell them you bought the printer and software from someone, and ask them to delete the registration. They will need the (long) password for RLP and the SN of the printer it's linked to. If you have all that, it should only take a day or two for them to remove the entry from the Mimaki Japan Registration Servers.
