Rasterlink Pro 2 - complaining - No printer registered.

Hi there,

I have recently aquired a Mimaki JV3-160 SP that I would love to get going.

When I open rasterlink pro 2 it complains - no printer registered. Please register printer at (Printer Managment) OK.
When I click Ok rasterlink closes.

All software has been freshly installed from original disks.

When I browse my computer I can see the Mimaki Printer displaying and showing as status Ready.

From here i try a test print and nothing happens??

Hope someone can help

In case you haven't resolved this...

Have you set the printer up using the printer management?
Go to Start>Programs>Mimaki Rasterlink Pro II>Printer Managment

Click "add"
Select your printer model, color, and output port. If the printer is successfully connected to the computer it will be displayed on the right panel. Select your printer, and at the bottom give it a name. I always named it the same as how the computer see it. for ex: JV33-05.

once this is done Rasterlink should run fine.
