rasterlink pro 5 colour replacement

hey all,
im have a little trouble with editing an image in rasterlink.
i just want to put a small percentage of black into my image but its not letting me raise or do anything in the colour replacement menu. i no if you put your mouse over the picture it shows you what percentage of colour it is, how can i change that??
