Red Foil on Black Vinyl

I have a red/white decal that I'm trying to print on black vinyl. The white came out great but the red was really darkened. I'm using tomato red. How should I go about this? Thanks!

Instead of printing on black vinyl, can you print black and red on white vinyl? If not, just put a white primer on the red.

The red should be primed with a layer of white underneath it.

Gotcha. Thanks! I guess I could print black on white also.

add a white 'primer' (backing).
under the print options click backing/finish.
check the 'backing white foil' and uncheck process colors only since you're using tomato red.
...someone please correct me if im wrong. i dont use the edge much
