Reflective Clear Vinyl

This is an odd request from a customer.

I am wondering if there is a clear vinyl that is highly reflective. Need to place over some printed graphics and make them reflective..

I told customer I would check, but have not found anything.

if the graphic is already printed, you may not be able to get the desired effect from on overlam - most printed inks are transparent and rely on the light passing through the ink, bouncing off of the substrate, then back through the ink to the observer.... If you reflect light before it even gets to the graphic ("need to place over some printed graphics...." if you look through a 50% mirror it does not make the objects on the other side look reflective...)

the best process would be to have the transparent inks printed on-top of a more reflective substrate.

Tried to tell then that but they are willing to try just putting reflective over their prints.. I would rather just print new than mess with someone elses prints.

or absolutely get in writing that they know and understand you do not think it will do what they want - collect $ first, then install... be ready to remake the graphic on-top of a reflective substrate when they realize it is the only way....
