Registration mark question

What is the point of adding registration marks at the front and back of an edge fc print? Does that mean I can start the cut from either side of the roll when cutting on a Gerber envision 375?

Usually you can spin the jobs so yes. And with barcodes that's the purpose. You can print a roll full of jobs and cut the whole roll.
It will allow to compensate for length and have better accuracy.
